Terms of Use for The Law For Nature (TLFN) Logo

1. Ownership:

The Law For Nature (TLFN) logo is the property of the Ecocide Law Alliance (ELA) and is protected by trademark laws. The logo is administered by The Law For Nature (TLFN) Project Group. By using the logo, you acknowledge ELA's ownership of the logo and agree to comply with these terms of use.


2. Permitted Use:

'The logo may be used only by businesses, organizations and individuals that have agreed to become members and/or ambassadors of The Law For Nature (TLFN) Project and support the advocacy of making ecocide an international crime. The logo may be used solely for the purpose of promoting the TLFN Project and the associated advocacy efforts.


3. Prohibited Use:

The logo may not be used in any manner that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or approval by ELA of any product, service, or commercial activity other than those that directly support TLFN Project and the associated advocacy efforts. The logo may not be altered in any way, including resizing or cropping, without the prior written consent of TLFN Project Group.


4. Term and Termination:

The use of the logo is subject to these terms of use and may be terminated by TLFN Project Group at any time if you violate any of the terms of use. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the logo.


5. Indemnification:

By using the logo, member businesses and organizations agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ELA, its directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to the use of the logo by the member business or organization.


6. Governing Law:

These terms of use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

By using the logo, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms of use and agree to be bound by them. TLFN Project Group reserves the right to update or modify these terms of use at any time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically to ensure your compliance.

 


Membership Rules for Businesses and Organizations


1. Eligibility:

Businesses and organizations that support the advocacy of making Ecocide an international crime may apply for membership in The Law For Nature (TLFN) Project.

 

2. Application Process:

To become a member, businesses and organizations must complete an application form and pay the required license fee. The application must be submitted to TLFN Project Group for review and approval.


3. License Fee:

Members shall pay a license fee for the right to use the TLFN logo in their promotional materials. The fee will be determined by TLFN Project Group and is subject to change.

 

4. Use of the Logo:

Members may use the TLFN logo solely for the purpose of promoting the TLFN Project and the associated advocacy efforts. Members must comply with the terms of use for the logo as outlined in the logo Terms of Use.

 

5. Obligations:

Members shall actively promote the TLFN Project and the associated advocacy efforts through their business or organization's channels and platforms. Members agree to provide periodic updates on their advocacy efforts to TLFN Project Group.


6. Termination:

TLFN Project Group reserves the right to terminate the membership at any time if the member business or organization violates any of the membership rules or fails to comply with the terms of use for the logo.
By becoming a member, businesses, organizations acknowledge that they have read and understood the membership rules and agree to be bound by them. TLFN Project Group reserves the right to update or modify these rules at any time, and it is the responsibility of members to review them periodically to ensure compliance.

Membership Rules for Individuals


1. Eligibility:

Individuals who support the advocacy of making Ecocide an international crime may apply to become TLFN ambassadors.


2. Application Process:

To become an ambassador, individuals must complete an application form and submit it to TLFN Project Group for review and approval.


3. Ambassadorship Duties:

Ambassadors shall actively promote the TLFN Project and the associated advocacy efforts through their personal and professional networks. Ambassadors are encouraged to provide periodic updates on their advocacy efforts to TLFN Project Group.


4. Termination:

TLFN Project Group reserves the right to terminate an individual's ambassadorship at any time if the ambassador violates any of the membership rules or fails to comply with their ambassadorship duties.


By becoming an ambassador, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the membership rules and agree to be bound by them. TLFN Project Group reserves the right to update or modify these rules at any time, and it is your responsibility as an ambassadors to review them periodically to ensure compliance.
